释义	光學字元閱讀機 guāng xué zì yuán yuè dú jī一种用来读取手写的符号与字元，或机器印制的字元与一些特殊直条码的光电装置，并根据文件上吸收光或反射光的程度加以辨认。其优点在于减少许多必须由人力完成且属于重复输入的工作，增加准确性并争取处理时效。如商店的条码阅读机及处理大专联考答案卡的读卡机，皆是应用的例子。也称为「光学读字机」。
