八月花神
bā yuè huā shén
八月是桂花盛开的时节，也称为「桂月」。八月花神指晋石崇的宠妾绿珠。绿珠美艳，善吹笛，后因赵王司马伦派兵索讨，遂为石崇坠楼殉情。后人感慨绿珠短暂的生命如桂花易落，坠楼如桂花自枝头飘落，便封她为八月桂花的花神。见《晋书．卷三三．石崇传》。
