释义	八蜡 bā là周代每年农事完毕﹐于建亥之月十二月举行的祭祀名称。蜡，周代田事完毕后由官方所举行的祭祀典礼。八蜡为祭拜先啬、司啬、农、邮表畷、猫虎、坊、水庸、昆虫八种神明。八蜡以祀四方。四方年不顺成，八蜡不通，以谨民财也。《礼记．郊特牲》
