释义	六牲 liù shēng即六畜:马、牛、羊、豕、犬、鸡。《周礼．地官．牧人》:掌牧六牲﹐而阜蕃其物﹐以共祭祀之牲牷。郑玄注:六牲﹐谓牛马羊豕犬鸡。又《天官．膳夫》:凡王之馈﹐食用六谷﹐膳用六牲。郑玄注:六牲﹐马牛羊豕犬鸡也。王引之《经义述闻．周官上》:此六牲与《牧人》不同。《牧人》之六牲谓马牛羊豕犬鸡﹐此六牲则牛羊豕犬雁鱼也。盖膳夫之饮食膳羞﹐与《食医》之六食、六膳、百羞相应。可备一说。
