释义	北堂书钞 běi táng shū chāo类书名。唐初虞世南辑。一百六十卷。分十九部，八百八十二类。摘抄唐代以前群书，汇集可供作诗文时参考、采用的词藻、典故。是现存最早的一部类书。书名。唐虞世南撰。分八百零一类，一百六十卷。因虞氏在隋为秘书郎，北堂为秘书省的后堂，故称为「北堂书钞」。书中分类摘钞字句，而不尽注出处，原本为明陈禹谟所窜改，已非本来面目，然所引多古书，考证家多援以为据。北堂書鈔
