释义	南洋公学 nán yáng gōng xué1896年盛宣怀创立于上海。经费来自电报、招商两局。设师范院、外院即附属小学堂、中院即中学堂、上院即大学堂四院。1903年起先后改名为上海商务学堂、商务部高等实业学堂、邮传部上海高等实业学堂、交通部上海工业专门学校。1921年与唐山工业专门学校、北京邮电学校、交通传习所合并为交通大学。
