释义	哭秦庭 kū qín tíng春秋楚国伍员，因家族被楚王诛灭而奔吴，谓其友申包胥曰:我必复楚国!包胥曰:子能复之，我必能兴之。后伍率吴兵破楚，申包胥乞师于秦。秦王不许。申立依于庭墙而哭，日夜不絶声，勺饮不入口七日，秦为所感，遂救楚。事见《左传．定公四年》。后世以哭秦庭为请兵抒国难之典。
