释义	土木之变 tǔ mù zhī biàn明英宗被瓦剌军俘虏的事件。1449年，瓦剌贵族也先率军攻明。宦官王振挟持英宗率军五十万亲征。至大同，闻前方败讯，即惊慌退却，于土木堡今河北怀来东被也先追及，明军大败，英宗被俘，王振死于乱军之中。明英宗正统十四年西元1449，英宗信宦官王振的意见，率领大军亲征也先，于土木堡兵败被俘，兵士死伤惨重。史称「土木之变」。土木之變
