释义	土木堡 tǔ mù pù地名。在今河北怀来县东。本名统漠镇，唐初高开道所置，后沿误为土木。明永乐初置堡。正统十四年公元1449年英宗率军与瓦剌作战，被俘于此，堡毁。后嘉靖、隆庆间又曾重修。参见土木之变。地名。位于今察哈尔省怀来县附近，明英宗曾于此兵败，被也先俘虏。
