释义	夜客 yè kè夜晚来访的客人。指阿谀逢迎之人。唐李涉有诗名，曾过九江，至皖口，遇盗。其豪首请涉题诗。涉作诗:春雨萧萧江上村，緑林豪客夜知闻。他时不用相回避，世上如今半是君。事见《唐诗纪事》卷四六、元辛文房《唐才子传．李涉》。《全唐诗》录此诗，题作《井栏砂宿遇夜客》。后来因以夜客为盗贼的代称。盗贼。如唐代李涉有井栏砂宿遇夜客诗。
