释义	大茅埔 dà máo pǔ地名。位于台中市东势区。是早期客家人开发中部地区，所形成的聚落。因地理位置直接面对泰雅族部落居住地，所以聚落内外多见防御工程。如外围有大栏坑的隘勇线，近内有壕沟，再近有岗哨、棘竹林，内围有栅门、巡逻线路、瞭望亭等。现存古迹有三山国王庙、水圳、将寮、石哀、石公及太子爷庙。
