嵩陽書院
sōng yáng shū yuàn
故址在河南省登封县太室山南麓。建于五代。宋太宗至道元年七月赐额太室书院。仁宗景佑二年九月置学官，重修，诏令更名嵩阳书院，并赐额。为宋代四大书院之一。明末倾圮殆尽。清康熙十三年重建。参见四书院。位于河南省登封县太室山的南麓。五代周时所建，初称为「太室书院」。宋改名，与睢阳、白鹿、岳麓号称为「四大书院」。
