释义	市令 shì lìng古官名。掌管市场。战国时楚国有市令之官。见《史记。循吏列传》。汉于长安东、西两市各置市令一人，属京兆尹。见《汉书．百官公卿表序》、《食货志下》。南北朝亦各有市令。见《魏书．李裔传》、《南齐书．东昏侯纪》。唐时各都督府、州及三千户以上的县皆置市令，不满三千户的县，若地处要路而交易繁盛者，亦听依三千户法置之。见《新唐书．百官志四》、宋王溥《唐会要．市》。司市官颁布的教令。
