清·袁枚的论诗主张。他吸取和发展了宋·杨万里和明·袁宏道等人之说，主张作诗应抒写胸臆，辞贵自然，反对以程·朱理学束缚诗歌创作，对拟古倾向和温柔敦厚的“诗教”表示不满，批评了沈德潜的“格调说”和王士禛的“神韵说”。但他所说的性灵，多属封建士大夫的闲情逸致，其作品很少反映当时的社会生活。
