释义	断席 duàn xí割斷的坐席。衛將軍從此兩人過平陽主，主令兩人與騎奴同席而食，此二子拔刀列斷席別坐。《史記．卷一○四．田叔傳》許敬，字鴻卿。其鄉吏有誣君者，會於縣令坐，敬拔刀斷席曰：『敬不忍與惡人同席。』《太平御覽．卷七○九．服用部．廌蓆》引謝承《後漢書》也作「拔刀斷席」、「斷蓆」。
