释义	木雁 mù yàn《莊子•山木》載：莊子行於山中，見大樹因不材而免於被人砍伐；後又見主人選殺不會鳴叫的雁以享客。弟子疑而問於莊子：“昨日山中之木以不材得終其天年，今主人之雁以不材死，先生將何處？”莊子笑曰：“周將處乎材與不材之間。”這是古代道家全身遠禍的處世態度。後因以“木雁”比喻有才與無才。才能疑木雁，報施迷夷跖。《唐．劉禹錫〈遊桃源一百韻〉》
