释义	水筆仔 shuǐ bǐ zǐ植物名。紅樹科茄藤樹屬，常綠小喬木或灌木。葉對生，呈長橢圓形，花白色。果實為圓錐形，成熟尚未脫離母體時種子便發芽而長出細長的根，掉落泥中後便會成為一株小樹，故為胎生植物。多分布於熱帶及亞熱帶的河口、沼澤地，臺灣淡水及大陸沿海地區亦有產之。水筆仔有生態保育的功用，所以必須加以保護。
