波斯帝國
bō sī dì guó
古代波斯人建立的奴隶制国家。公元前550年，居住在今伊朗高原西南部的波斯人，在首领居鲁士领导下，灭掉北方的米底王国后建国。后不断对外扩张，相继征服小亚细亚、两河流域、叙利亚、埃及等地。大流士一世在位时，又入侵印度和欧洲东南部，形成历史上第一个地跨亚、非、欧三洲的大帝国。后在希波战争中失败。前330年被马其顿国王亚历山大所灭。
