dēng gāo
一種中元節的習俗。民間以寺廟為中心的公眾普渡，在寺廟前方廣場，豎立一座高達數丈的竹竿，頂端繫有一盞燈籠，稱為「燈篙」。相傳燈籠點亮後，散布各處的孤魂野鬼，即知明日此處有食物可享用，遂紛紛到此大快朵頤一番。
