白字戲
bái zì xì
流行于广东、福建、香港、澳门等地的戏曲。因唱、念均用方言而得名。白字戏属童伶制，演员到变声期不能唱白字曲者，则须去正字戏，所以著名艺人很少。传统剧目有二百多个，大都为传奇故事。音乐属曲牌体，分大锣戏、小锣戏两种。大锣戏原用大管弦，后改以竹弦为主奏乐器，小锣戏以小唢呐为主，配以响盏等。
