释义	白衫 bái shān唐宋時便服。亦作喪服用。猶白衣。古代平民服。嘗欲弔喪，令家童自歸家取白衫。《舊唐書．卷一五．唐臨傳》涼衫，其制如紫衫，亦曰：『白衫』。乾道初，禮部侍郎王曮奏：『竊見近日士大夫皆服涼衫，甚非美觀，而以交際、居官、臨民，純素可憎，有似凶服。……』於是禁服白衫，除乘馬道塗許服外，餘不得服。若便服，許用紫衫。自後，涼衫祗用為凶服矣。《宋史．卷一五三．輿服志五》也稱為「涼衫」。
