美國對外蒐集政治、軍事情報的安全機構。英文全名為Central Intelligence Agency，簡稱為 CIA。西元一九四七年依國家安全法案，於九月十八日正式成立，直屬白宮國國家安全會議所管轄。總局設在華盛頓，國外並有分支機構，主掌協調美國全部情報工作。德語US-Geheimdienst
