释义	老扈 lǎo hù亦稱老鳸。亦稱老僱。小鳥名。即鷃雀。《說文．佳部》:九僱，農桑候鳥，扈民不淫者也……春僱鳻盾，夏僱竊玄，秋僱竊藍，冬僱竊黃，棘僱竊丹，行僱唶唶，宵僱嘖嘖，桑僱竊脂，老僱鴳也。《左傳．昭公十七年》九扈爲九農正，扈民無淫者也。晉杜預注:老扈鷃鷃。孔穎達疏:老扈鷃鷃，趣民收麥，令不得晏起者也。按，《爾雅．釋鳥》:鶨?老鳸鴳。王引之《經義述聞．爾雅下》:九鳸各有專名，而老鳸居其一。一說老當點斷屬上讀。鶨?老，鳥名；鳸鴳，即鴳雀。見郭璞注。
