释义	臨水夫人 lín shuǐ fū rén民间信仰的神祇之一。唐福州古田县的陈靖姑，生于唐大历二年（西元767)。相传曾习得阎山道法。嫁刘杞而孕，时逢闽中大旱，靖姑脱胎求雨而卒，年仅二十四。遗言死后为神，护祐产妇，救人产难。后世祀为安产之神。宋理宗时封为慈济夫人，赐额顺懿，元、明、清均有封赠，初号「临水夫人」，后加封为顺天圣母顺懿元君，闽人多尊称为「临水陈太后」。
