释义	荀卿 xún qīng即荀況。戰國趙人，世稱荀卿。漢時謂之孫卿。曾在齊，遊學稷下，三爲祭酒。去齊至楚，春申君任以蘭陵令。晩年專事著述，終老蘭陵。學宗儒術而言性惡，謂須恃禮義以矯其枉，乃得從善。戰國末著名政治家韓非、李斯，曾師事其門。經學辭賦，對後世殊多影響。今傳《荀子》十二卷三十二篇。
