释义	蛇盤鏡 shé pán jìng語出唐鍾輅《前定錄．袁孝叔》。有老父授袁孝叔書一編雲:君之壽與位盡具於此﹐事已前定……但受一命﹐即開一幅。每之任﹐視書無差。後秩滿歸閿鄉別墅﹐晨起欲就巾櫛﹐忽有物墜鏡中﹐類蛇而有四足﹐孝叔驚僕﹐數日卒。其妻閱留書﹐猶餘半軸﹐乃開視之﹐惟有空紙數幅﹐畫一蛇盤鏡中。後用以爲典實。
