释义	蠟丸 là wán蠟製的丸狀物。因能防濕保密，古代常用以內藏文字，以傳遞祕密書信、文件等。故亦以“蠟丸”指用蠟封裹的書信、文件等。也稱蠟彈。中藥丸劑的一種。用蜂蠟為粘合劑，與藥料細粉混和製成。取其緩化藥效、延長療效或減輕有毒藥物的毒性等作用。亦指以蠟為外殼的丸劑，取其有防潮、防腐的作用。肅宗已即位靈武，真卿數遣使以蠟丸裹書陳事。《新唐書．卷一五三．顏真卿傳》也稱為「蠟彈」。
