释义	袒右 tǎn yòu脫去右袖，露出右臂。古代罪人受刑的標誌。脫去右袖，露出右臂。古時表示參加起事的標誌。漢呂后死，太尉周勃入北軍，行令軍中曰:'爲呂氏右袒，爲劉氏左袒。'軍皆左袒。周勃遂率兵盡殺呂黨。事見《史記．呂太后本紀》。後遂以袒右表示對舊勢力的擁護。
