贵州省西部、中部、四川省南部和云南省许多地区苗族的盛大娱乐活动。多于农历正月间，在传统的跳场坪或跳场坡上举行。在坪上竖立花杆，男女盛装前往，绕杆吹笙跳舞。人数常达数千，多至万余。男女青年多利用这一场合对歌交结朋友。也称跳花、踩花山或踩山。
