释义	陪尾 péi wěi古山名。《书．禹贡》﹕熊耳、外方、桐柏﹐至于陪尾。孔传﹕四山相连﹐东南在豫州界﹐洛经熊耳﹐伊经外方﹐淮出桐柏﹐经陪尾。《史记．夏本纪》作负尾﹔《汉书．地理志上》作陪尾。所在之地有二说。一说在今湖北安陆北。北魏郦道元《水经注．禹贡山》﹕陪尾山在江夏安陆县东北。一说在今山东泗水东﹐泗水所出的陪尾山。晋张华《博物志》卷一﹕八流亦出名山﹕渭出鸟鼠﹐汉出嶓冢﹐洛出熊耳﹐泾出少室﹐汝出燕泉﹐泗出陪尾。其后《隋书．地理志》、《大清一统志》及近代学者多从此说。
