释义	食万羊 shí wàn yáng传说唐武宗宰相李德裕，宣宗时以太子少保分司东都，召一善知祸福僧人问前程，僧告以将遭贬南行万里﹐不久当还，因命中注定食羊万口，有五百未满。后十余日，振武节度使遣使送米并馈羊五百，李大惊，召僧告其事，且欲还之。僧人说:羊至此，是已为相国有矣，还之无益，南行其不返乎!事见唐张读《宣室志》卷九、《太平广记》卷九八。后遂以食万羊表示听天由命﹐不必强求富贵。食萬羊
